Give those digital images sitting on your hard drive or storage media new life in an artful presentation that friends and loved ones will delight in: a musical slideshow. Showcasing vacation or family photos in a slideshow is quick and simple—and you can enjoy it right away! All it requires is a few minutes’ time on your PC and you’re ready to share. We’ll lead you through the process, and then we’ll give you a few savvy ideas for creating shows of your own.
Launch HP Image Zone by double-clicking the desktop icon or by going to the PC Start menu and selecting the program.
Select the My Images tab and then click on View Folder. The My Folders Menu will display in the left column.
Open the folder containing the photos you would like to view. The photos will appear as thumbnails in My Images.
Step 2: Select photos
To include specific photos, select them in order of viewing preference by clicking the lower left box on those photos. The box will turn black on each image you select. If you make a mistake, you can unclick the box or start over by clicking Unselect All beneath the My Images tab.
If you would like to include all the photos in the slideshow, click on Select All beneath the My Images tab.
Step 3: Select music
Launch the Media Center software by double-clicking the desktop icon or by going to the PC Start menu and selecting the program.
Go to My Music and select either a music file or a radio station to play.
Once the music starts, minimize Media Center to return to HP Image Zone.
Step 4: Enjoy
When you have returned to Image Zone, click on the “Play slideshow” icon in the upper right corner (it looks like a television set) of My Images.
The show will begin in widescreen view. The slideshow repeats until you stop or close it using the control buttons in the upper right corner of the screen.
If you want to save the slideshow for future viewing, you’ll need to create a folder for the photos and arrange them in order of viewing preference.
